The SkillsUSA Organization runs a Pin Design Competition to create a small metallic pin which represents the state you live in. It is a juried competition which for many students is the first time as a designer that an entire production process is followed, from looking at the target demographic, to concept art, to rough drafts, to final digital production.
Due to the popularity of the Design Competition at CTE, classes are now limited to 8 pins for submission. The following are the 16 total pins representing Cawd (1 & 2) in this years CTE Pin Design Competition.
Initial voting will be done shortly by current CTE students.
Top 5 from that voting will move on to present to a jury of professionals.
Top from that presentation will move on to represent CTE at the SkillsUSA Vermont competition in April.
Good luck Cawd!
