Former CAWD student Leslie Hynes just graduated from Simmons College in Boston, and is living in Japan. She emailed me this morning to inform me of a free travel opportunity to experience South Korea:

“I am writing to let you know about a fantastic travel opportunity that your students may be interested in. CIEE has a free, two week trip to South Korea for selected high school students. I went on their university-level travel program in March of this year. Applications don’t open until April 2012, but it is good to start in advance. Information is available at http://www.ciee.org/southkorea/high-school/index.html. I recently graduated from Simmons College, and am currently living in Japan. If you have any students who are interested in women’s colleges or in study abroad in Japan, please give my information as a resource – I’d love to help CTE students after all that CTE did for me.”
