11:25 Morning Digital Sketching Content: Car / Truck
This morning you are going to practice your newly learned skills in Illustrator to create a Car or Truck – something that really exists. No fantasy, no made up vehicles, I want to see an STi, or a Wrangler, or a 7 Series, or a Beetle. The following image would work as a reference image:
or this – which SOMEDAY I may be able to buy…if I had the money…and the were legal in the US….Land Rover Defender 110….drool.
Start with a new document of profile: web, and select the 800 x 600 px in size.
Use the internet to find a side view of a vehicle to use as a reference image. Use the skills Mr. Herr taught you to recreate the vehicle.
When complete save your file as “vehicle.ai”.
Then create the .jpg to turn in by exporting you file as a .jpg called “vehicle.jpg”.
Upload both of these files to your Week 19 folder for grading.
