12:50 Afternoon Web Illustration Exercise: Cartoon Town

This afternoon we are going to continue working in Flash to create an illustration based around the theme of “Cartoon Town”.

First start a new file 1280 x 720 in size. Using the Flash illustration tools and multiple layers, create a Cartoon Town.

In the example above the artist used the Tablet in conjunction with Flash to create the stylistic effect. You don’t need to use the tablet, in fact, while it is fun/cool/different I think its harder to control the art -> choose the mouse if demand low levels of frustration initially.

The higher the detail -> the higher the grade.

When complete save and publish your work as “cartoonTown.html”, “cartoonTown.fla” and “cartoonTown.swf” into your Week 19 folder.
