- Read chapter 1 (pg 6-31) of “The Photographers Eye” and write a 250-500 word summary of the chapter. Due and graded October 25th. When complete upload to your ‘week_8′ folder as chapter1.doc. You can find the book here and login using your ftp credentials.
- Take photos using the composition rules you learned today and in your reading. This will be due October 25th as well.
Five of these photos will just be off autumn as it is peak foliage season for the next few weeks. These photos can be of foliage, pumpkin pie, jack-o-lanterns or leaves on the ground or floating in water.
The other 5 photos are going to be photos representing a word. This is an entirely abstract project and up to your interpretation of what the words mean to you. For your ‘heat’ photograph you could go the obvious path and take a picture of fire, or you can go the abstract route that Lodie took last year with his photo.
Photographs to take:
- 5 Autumn photos
- Heat
- Wet
- Decay
- Conflict
- Straight
You will have time Monday the 24th to edit your photos. When complete, upload to your ‘week_8′ in a ‘photos’ folder as jpgs with appropriate names.
12:40 Afternoon Class Dismissal (Log into render before leaving)
