- Review of basic web page, headings, paragraphs

10:00 Morning Web Exercise: Recipe Web Page Creation.
From now until break you are going to use the content we learned yesterday and today and create 3 web pages for 3 different recipes. You will use different size headings, paragraphs, ordered and unordered lists in each exercise.
In today’s example files you will find “recipe1.docx” through “recipe3.docx”. Take each Word document and create a valid xhtml document for it. For each file put the name of the food as the title for the web page.
Save each file with the same structure as the Word document, but create valid xhtml documents instead of Word files. For instance call the file you make from “recipe1.docx”, “recipe1.html”, and so on. Upload all the files to your Week 18 folder when you are complete.
When you finish, study for tomorrows quiz, or do work for Mr. Bisson.

In today’s example files you will find a file called “wedBroken.html”. If you load this up into your browser you will see that it is not a valid page, there are errors in the code.
Using our validator, go through and fix the errors in the code to create a valid page free of problems.
When complete, save and upload your file to Week 18 as “wedFixed.html”.
1:10 Afternoon Illustrator Exercise: Evil Monkey.
In today’s example files you will find a file called “evilMonkey.gif”. In the same style of our recreation of Stewie yesterday, recreate in Illustrator.
When complete, delete or hide the reference image, and save your file as “evilMonkey.ai” and “evilMonkey.png” and upload to Week 18.
