CAWD needs YOU! We are looking for your help in three different areas. Below are three choice projects for the day, best of each may be chosen for CAWD to use during the recruitment season. All these projects are extra credit towards your Q2 grade.
If you are not doing ANY of these (Again, these are extra credit) you are focusing on your walking animation for your character. Please look at the afternoon for the walking animation.
CAWD One Sheeter
How many of you got flyers when visiting CAWD? How many of your read those flyers? How many of you passed them off to your parents or friends?
What we are looking to do with our flyers is to simplify them. We would like to have two key areas of information. One area that talks about our formers students and where there are today. Then one area that talks about what you gain from coming to CAWD.

CAWD Panel decorating
CAWD has three panels outside of our classroom. All three of them say the same thing and they are pretty boring. We are looking to design these three panels as creative inspiration for students in the hallways.
We have a nice vinyl cutter in the back. Though we are limited in it’s colors, I think we can get really creative here.

CAWD Mobile Site Nav Glitch
CAWD has seen a glitch over the past week that has been a problem for anyone trying to navigate our site via mobile. We sort of see the issue, but we would like to see if any of you can see the exact issue.
What we know: We know that the instagram plugin on the homepage is affecting our navigations visibility. We know that the nav works on every other page.

12:45 Walking Animations
This afternoon we are going to look at taking our characters and creating walking animations for them. These walking animations are going to be the basis of how our characters move. Please keep in mind we ARE going to have a 3rd person view for our game so it’s important for these walking animations to look half decent.
Much easier said than done so let’s take a look at a few resources. Below are a couple videos I have found that will help out animating our cycles. It may be easier to practice on the example file first. Just a recommendation.

Because Maya 2017 doesn’t support batch rendering (yet?), I will only ask you to show me your walk cycle in a screen shot. I should be able to see key frames and your character NOT in T pose.
