The results for the Vermont SkillsUSA Pin Design for CTE were just posted this morning. Below are the top 5 pins from all of the CTE pins. You may have noticed they are all Cawd students.
Laura Alger placed first with a maple syrup and pancake pin even though french toast is better. Katelyn Chambers placed second with a jumping large mouthed bass. David Christie took the bronze medal with his muddin’ truck. And finally, Anna Giannuzzi took fourth and fifth place with her sign and deer pins.
These students will be representing Cawd and CTE at the Vermont State SkillsUSA competition in April. They will be up against the best designs from around the state. Each student will be giving a 5 – 7 minute presentation to a panel of judges on the aspects of their pin and their design process.
Let us know what you think about the winning pins, and maybe what the students should talk about during their presentations.
