The following is a test video shot with the CAWD 2nd years. We shot this with a Canon HG20 HD, CGI added with After Effects, and cut with Premier Pro.

After Skills next week (Tues, March 16th), we will be shooting an actual story that includes all of the After Effects concepts we have learned this year. It will have light sabers, green screens, particle effects, masking, growing, fire, wilhelm scream, impacts, loss of limbs and you can bet it will have it’s fair share of bloopers.

Ninja Attack

After the trailer for the new movie “I am Legend” came out, The Computer Animation students decided to stock up on supplies and read up on zombie outbreaks. Suddenly, a ninja attacked! Caught off guard, the ninja had the upper hand on the CAWD class. Thankfully, a band of pirates that happened to be sailing by, decided to come to our rescue and quickly dispatched the ninja with ease.
