CAWD Update

Well as you may have noticed if you have little to do over the summer, the Cawdvt.org website is going through update to Version 3. Cawd is now running completely on WordPress for all of the pages, not just the blog. The reason for this is… well… I’m just to lazy to code a full CMS, or even part of one like last year.

Also, the Cawd classroom is going through some updates as well.

Ohh noes!! Some one stole our carpet.

Cawd is getting new carpet, chairs, paint, side tables, projector, screen and movie posters.

Stay tuned for more updates and pictures when the new carpet is in.

Staring tomorrow, January 25, Winter-een-mas begins! Winter-een-mas is a week long holiday lasting the rest of January to celebrate video games and everyone who loves to play them. Winter-een-mas is a holiday of sorts. More specifically, it is a celebration of video games and the people that play them. Video games allow us to do things, go places, see stuff, that we couldn’t do in real life. They can be an escape from reality, a release after a long day, a fun activity with friends, or just an enjoyable way to pass time. Winter-een-mas was started in 2003 by gamers and is now celebrated around the world.

Hope you have a safe holiday vacation and we’ll see you January 2nd!!And if you must travel this vacation, be safe and do it right (iPod, Macbook, Hero’s on DVD, 300, an AC adapter and countless other geek toys to dull the pain of driving 6 hours to sleep on some uncomfortable bed/couch). 6 hours and 3 gingerbread lattes later, it’s midnight; So I should be asleep, but some one forgot to put a password on their wifi and I needed my internet fix
If your reading this while you should be visiting with family members, get off the computer, they can still keep your presents. I’m posting this while I should be relaxing at this bed and breakfast, instead I’m sitting in the corner of the lobby with the best wireless signal. So before I get in trouble… Peace.
